Shillong, Nov. 2: The grand finale of the Miss Shillong 2025 pageant concluded on a dazzling note with Mathrika Choudhury being crowned the winner at a spectacular ceremony held at the U Soso Tham Auditorium on Saturday night.
Organised by the Fashion Society Shillong (FSS), this year’s edition showcased 19 talented contestants competing through multiple rounds of traditional wear, evening gown presentation, and the decisive question-and-answer segment. The event drew an enthusiastic crowd, adding glamour and excitement to one of the city’s most anticipated cultural evenings.
Mathrika impressed the judges with her poise, confidence, and articulate responses in the final round, earning her the coveted title. Along with the crown, she received a cash prize of ₹1 lakh and will now represent Shillong in various cultural and social initiatives under the FSS banner.

Wandaphi Kharbamon was declared the 1st Runner-up, followed by Jollyne Ancie Lyngdoh as the 2nd Runner-up. Nimrat Ranhotra and Rimika Shylla were named 3rd and 4th Runners-up, respectively.
Organisers noted that Miss Shillong continues to serve as a meaningful platform for young women, promoting confidence, leadership, and cultural representation. This year’s pageant also featured performances from local artistes, adding vibrancy and flair to the event.
The evening concluded with the crowning moment, marking a new chapter in Mathrika Choudhury’s journey as she steps into her role as Miss Shillong 2025.
