Ri Bhoi, September 5: The Synjuk Ki Seng Samla Shnong (SSSS), Ri Bhoi Sepngi, has launched free tuition classes for students under Jirang Block who are preparing for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) for Class VI.
The coaching programme was formally inaugurated on September 5, 2026, with the initiative aimed at providing academic support and encouraging students to pursue educational opportunities through the JNVST.
The inauguration was attended by Alfred Doloi, Chairman of SSSS Ri Bhoi Sepngi and General Secretary of the Synjuk Ki Seng Samla Shnong, Ri Bhoi District.
Also present were Aristone Manbha Ryndongsngi, Chairman of SSSS Ri Bhoi District; Damut Kynsai Wahlang, General Secretary, SSSS Ri Bhoi Sepngi; Ribilar Thangkhiew, Education Secretary; Remington Syngkli, Sports Secretary; and Banplielad Nongphlang, Health Secretary of SSSS Ri Bhoi Sepngi.
The initiative seeks to make JNVST preparation more accessible to students in the area by providing free coaching and academic guidance, particularly for children who may otherwise have limited access to specialised entrance-test preparation.
The organisation said the programme reflects its commitment to promoting education, supporting young learners and creating equal opportunities for students across Ri Bhoi Sepngi.
