Shillong, Sept 29: Deputy Chief Minister and NPP state president Prestone Tynsong on Tuesday dismissed any threat to the NPP from BJP’s expansion drive and said all 33 party MLAs remain united.

Asked if NPP faces any threat due to BJP expansion, Tynsong said, “No, I don’t see any threat at all.”

On whether any MLA is joining NPP, he said, “As of today, no.”

“Being the president of the party, I just want to tell you one thing, it is 101 percent, 33 NPP MLAs are intact. We don’t have any misunderstanding and there is no one also who intends to come out of NPP,” he said.

On whether BJP has sought expansion of cabinet, he said, “No such conditions.”
