Shillong Sept 28: The Indian Air Force, Eastern Air Command will organize a two-day air festival at the Advance Landing Ground (ALG), Upper Shillong here on October 1 and 2.

The Air Festival will be inaugurated by Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Air Marshal, Anil Khosla at the ALG on October 1 at 11 am. The festival will continue till October 2.

The event includes a host of activities like flypast by helicopters and fighter aircraft, performance by the Air Force Band, slithering demonstration by IAF Special Force commandos, Akash Ganga, paradrop etc.

The fest will also have stalls for tea, snacks and games for children and families.
