Shillong, May 07: Massive landslide bring commuters at Shillong-Silchar National Highway 44 to stand still leaving hundreds of vehicles stranded on both sides on Sunday night. NH 44 is the only high way that  connects the Assam capital with Silchar via Jowai in Meghalaya

The landslide that brought in massive mound of mud and boulders due to the incessant rainfall over the past few days, blocking the important NH of the region. There were no reports of any casualty.
