Shillong June 30: Meghalaya witnessed sudden rise of COVID-19 positive cases after armed forces personnel tested positive for Coronavirus with another personnel found to have been infected by the virus at Tura in West Garo Hills district on Tuesday.
“One more armed personnel who travelled from Bihar to Tura has tested positive for COVID-19,” chief minister Conrad K Sangma revealed via twitter on Tuesday night.
Now the number of positive cases increased 53. While 10 are active cases, 42 have recovered, and one person had died.
