Shillong, Apr 5: The Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) Mawprem Circle has elected its new office bearers in a meeting held at the community hall of Lumkshaid here.

Arristone Thabah took oath as the new president of the Mawprem Circle administered by the KSU chief Lambok Starwell Marngar in the presence of general secretary Donald V Thabah and other functionaries of the central executive committee of the Union.

The other newly elected members include Badonkupar Nongbri – vice present, Sambha Kupar Shylla – general secretary, Alexander Mutyen – asst general secretary, Raplang Dhar – education secretary, Pynshngain Bantei Marwein – asst education secretary, Nangsandor Ryntathiang – organising secretary, Ricky Pathaw – asst organising secretary, Anrose Nongbet – publicity secretary, David Jyrwa – asst publicity secretary, Adorn Mutyen – environment and cultural secretary, Pynskhem Warjri – asst environment and cultural secretary, Samuel Shabong – sports secretary, Rikupar Nongrbri – sports secretary besides 20 executive members.
