Arunachal CM meets Governor on developmental issues

Itanagar, Nov 4 :  Arunachal Pradesh Chief  Minister Pema Khandu on Monday called on the Governor Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) at Raj Bhavan, and discussed about the developmental issues of the State and future course of action to expedite important projects.

The Chief Minister also briefed the Governor on issues pertaining to Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission.

During the meeting, the  matter of airlifting of civil supplies by Indian Air Force and the settlement of the pending payment of over Rs. 288 Crore came up for review in the meeting.

The meeting decided that the State Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar and the Commissioner Finance must meet the Union Home Secretary AK Bhalla for resolving the issue at the earliest.

Both the Governor and Chief Minister also reviewed the preparation for next batch of students for Sainik School, Niglok, East Siang District and it was felt that the preparation for the arrival of the next batch of students must be completed at the earliest.

The Governor emphasized on proper monitoring of developmental projects to ensure that the works are implemented within the time frame, particularly road projects.

Mishra commended Chief Minister Khandu for the successful conduct of the Tawang Festival 2019.
