Shillong | 31 July 2025: South Shillong MLA and senior BJP leader Bah Sanbor Shullai visited Khyndai Lad on Thursday evening to assess the situation following the recent relocation of street vendors by the Municipal Department to the MUDA Parking Lot.

During his walk-through, Bah Sanbor entered the vending zone, interacted with vendors, and offered words of encouragement. He expressed optimism that the move would ultimately benefit the vendors by providing them with a more organized and secure marketplace.

His presence sparked excitement among many vendors and bystanders. Several called out to him warmly, inviting him to browse or buy from their stalls. In response, Bah Sanbor took time to walk through the lanes, speaking with shopkeepers to understand their experiences, challenges, and feedback on the new arrangement.

Before concluding his visit, he also took a moment to engage with police personnel stationed at the site, thanking them for maintaining order and ensuring public safety.
