BJP holds Sabka Saath – Sabka Vikas Sammelan at Umsning

Shillong, June 08: The BJP today organised the Sabka Saath – Sabka Vikas Sammelan at Umsning in Ri-Bhoi District.
BJP State President, Shibun Lyngdoh was the chief guest at the programme attended by about 2000 people.
The basic objective of ‘Sabka Saath … Sabka Vikas Sammelan’ was to tell the people how schemes of the government have made difference and positively impacted their lives, improved their quality of living, and made them feel not only beneficiaries, but also partners in the process of development. Through this proramme, the Central government also conveyed to the people about achievements of the government in the last three years.
Pradhan Mantri Ujwala Yojna, Pradhan Mandtri MUDRA Yojna, Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna, Ujala Yojana, Rural Electrification, Jan Aushadhi Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sichayee Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, Sukanya Samridhi Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission, UDAN, are some of the initiatives of the government which have immensely benefitted millions of marginalized and hitherto excluded sections.
