Shillong Nov 13: An elderly person, Karmel Mawlong who went missing on Sunday, was found from a place near the forest at Mawblei on Wednesday evening.

Karmel, the resident of Mawblei Block B had gone missing from home on November 10 at around 8 am.

The body was found from a place near the forest at Mawblei, and according to Madanrting police, the body was found hanging from a tree.

The body was taken to Civil Hospital Shillong for postmortem. Police investigation is on.
