Shillong, Aug 14: Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma on Wednesday launched the Chief Minister’s e-champion challenge website, a platform to promote and push entrepreneurship growth in the state. Speaking during the launch, the Chief Minister said that this has been part of the drive of the government to promote and give recognition to entrepreneurs of the State and create ecosystem for entrepreneurship culture in the State.

“Competitions are a good way to get the interest of the youth, and to help them excel in whatever they do. Through this e-champion challenge we will select entrepreneurs and reward Rs one lakh to the top twenty five business ideas and fifty thousand to the next best twenty five. We urge the youth to join and be a part of this competition,” he said.

The Chief Minister’s e-champion challenge is an online platform where entrepreneurs can log in and register themselves. An entrepreneur will be asked a set of questions and based on their answers, they will be selected where they will be able to put up their ideas before a panel of judges.
