Shillong, Aug 26: Meghalaya on Thrusday registered 231 new COVID-19 cases, which pushed the tally of active cases to 2,682, the health department said in a bulletin.
Meanwhile, the state also records 362 new recovered cases in last 24 hours, with this the total recovered cases reaches 70,841.
02 more succumbs to the infections in last 24 hours, taking total number of fatalities from COVID-19 infection to 1,294 so far.
