Shillong, December 14: The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District has, in view of the prevailing law and order situation, issued an order under Section 144 CrPC relaxing curfew in all the curfew bound areas notified under Lumdiengjri Police Station and Sadar Police Station and their respective Outposts and Beat Houses for 13  hours w.e.f. 6 am to 7 pm on December 15.
The Curfew is promulgated again in the above mentioned areas w.e.f. 7 pm of December 15 and until further orders, added the District Magistrate.
The areas under Lumdiengjri PS include the whole of Jaiaw, Mawkhar, Umsohsun, Riatsamthiah, Wahingdoh, Mission, Mawprem, Lumdiengjri, Lamavilla, Qualapaty, Wahthapbru, Sunny Hill, Cantonment, Boucher Road, Mawlong Hat (excluding localities beyond Umshyrpi bridge) while the areas under Sadar PS, would include the whole of Police Bazar, Jail Road, Keating Road & Polo.
