Shillong Mar 5: The election to the post of chairman and chief executive member (CEM) of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council has been preponed to Thursday at 11 am and 2 pm respectively.

The election to the post of Chairman will be conducted by East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner, Matsiewdor W Nongbri, and the election to the CEM post will be conducted by the new Chairman of the Council.
