Shillong, Sept 26: Former Additional Chief Secretary, Peter W Ingty took oath as the new Chairman of the Meghalaya State Electricity Regulatory Commission (MSERC).

The former IAS officer was administered the oath of office by Power Minister, James P K Sangma on Thursday.

Ingty succeeded former Chief Secretary, W M S Pariat.

Pariat was the MSERC chairman from September 5, 2016 to December 28, 2018.
