Shillong,Sept.4: The first open futsal tournament will be organised in Shillong by Futsal Association of Meghalaya from September 28-30.
Dr Brightstar Langbang, president of Futsal Association of Meghalaya informed that the objective of the event is not only to produce futsal players but even footballers, and to promote young kids and youths of the state.
Adding that, the Association will also form units at different districts to reach to the grassroots level.
The event will be held at Indoor Stadium, JN Complex, also the event would have cash prize, medals and certificates.
