Festival returns to Shillong with its biggest edition yet — six international artists, massive stage, and a full city showcase
Shillong, Meghalaya, October 2025: The Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2025 has officially crowned global hip-hop sensation TYGA as its final headliner, marking a landmark moment for one of India’s most anticipated cultural and music festivals.
With this announcement, the 2025 edition is set to become the largest in the festival’s history, featuring six international artists across two electrifying days, supported by top Indian performers, regional icons, and an impressive roster of local talent.
This year also marks a special homecoming for the festival as it returns to its birthplace — Shillong. The celebrations will take place at the iconic J.N. Stadium and Polo Grounds, which will debut a state-of-the-art main stage towering 60 feet high — the biggest ever constructed in Northeast India, setting a new benchmark for live entertainment in the region.
The festival’s previously announced lineup boasts global heavyweights including The Script, Diplo, Aqua, Nora Fatehi, Jason Derulo, among others, covering a dynamic spectrum of genres — from pop and EDM to rock, hip-hop, indie, and regional fusion. With TYGA completing the star-studded roster, the Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2025 promises an unforgettable experience for music lovers of all generations.
