Shillong, Sept 19: The HSPDP Mawphlang Constituency Area Unit and UDP Mawphlang Constituency Circle have unanimously resolved to constitute a co-ordination committee (HSPDP-UDP) in Mawphlang constituency.
The committee was formed to further strengthen the alliance between the two parties and ensure victory in the upcoming Assembly election.
Kester Warjri was elected as President of the co-ordination committee, P. R. Kharshiing as General Secretary along with 52 members of the committee from various parts of Mawphlang constituency.
The meeting was also attended by UDP MLA and President of UDP East Khasi Hills district , Titos Chyne, HSPDP president, Ardent Basaiawmoit and Pynshai Manik Syiem who is the candidate from Mawphlang constituency.
