Shillong, March 28: To further assist the younger generation and create awareness to the adolescent among the school students regarding various health issues concerning the adolescent population.
The State National Health Mission under the Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram (RKSK) organized the Inter-School quiz competition at Seven Set Higher Secondary School, Shillong on Tuesday.
In the quiz competition based on the awareness on health, 14 schools from the city took part from class 8- class 10.
Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram (RKSK) Programme Officer Ms.Florish lyngdoh said, “the main objective is to propagate a message among the adolescent on the reproductive and sexual health, drug uses, mental health, non-communicable diseases and nutrition”.
