Shillong | 31 July 2025: Justice Biswadeep Bhattacharjee was officially sworn in as a Judge of the High Court of Meghalaya on Thursday. The oath of office was administered by the Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court, Justice Indra Prasanna Mukerji, during a formal swearing-in ceremony held at the High Court premises.

The event was attended by fellow judges, senior members of the Bar, court officials, and dignitaries from the legal fraternity. With this appointment, the High Court of Meghalaya strengthens its judicial bench, aiming to enhance the efficiency and delivery of justice in the state.

Justice Bhattacharjee brings with him extensive experience from his legal career, and his elevation is expected to contribute significantly to the judiciary of Meghalaya.
