Shillong,Jan 24: The Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) has decided convene a meeting of all the MDCs on Friday to discuss on the Centre’s decision to approve the amendment of the Sixth Schedule to the Constitution of India.

Informing this here on Wednesday, KHADC chief HS Shylla said the meeting is to take the views of the members of the district council on the decision of the Centre to approve the amendment of the Sixth Schedule.

“We will discuss on what the MDCs think and then will inform the state government of the decision,” he said.
