Nongpoh, September 22, 2025: With the vision of improving village infrastructure and ensuring progress for the community, the MDC of Mawhati Constituency and Deputy Chairman of the KHADC, Bah Kynjohlang Rangtong, visited Kyllapangti village today to hand over a work order for the construction of a footpath for schoolchildren.

The project, sanctioned under the 15th Finance Commission at a cost of ₹2 lakh, is part of Bah Rangtong’s commitment to bring development to the constituency.

Speaking during the brief function, Bah Rangtong expressed that this initiative was a long-standing aspiration of his as a public representative. He said the project was finalized after discussions with village leaders to ensure a safe and convenient passage for schoolchildren.
