Shillong, April 19: Mawlai MDC P.T. Sawkmie today inaugurated two motorable and footpaths at Mawlai Mawkynroh constructed at around Rs 15 lakh.
The amount was sanctioned the KHADC for the year 2015-2016 from the Special Assistance of the Central government given to the Council for implementation through the MDC.
In his brief speech, Sawkmie said that many areas under Mawlai constituency are still in need of development.
Sawkmie also urged the people of Mawlai to elect him again as MLA in the upcoming Assembly elections, and assured he would do his best in serving the people of Mawlai.
