Shillong, August 26: The Meghalaya Cricket Association (MCA) has announced a 25-member shortlist for its U-19 women’s team that will represent the state in the upcoming 2025-26 BCCI domestic season.
The names were finalised on the recommendation of the Junior Women’s Selection Committee after reviewing performances in the recent selection trial matches and considering players’ achievements during the 2023-24 and 2024-25 BCCI seasons.
A second phase of selection matches will be conducted from September 15 to 19 at Nongkhrah, Nongpoh, in Ri-Bhoi district. This will be followed by a preparatory camp for the final squad.
The U-19 women’s side will compete in the BCCI’s U-19 Women’s T20 Trophy beginning October 26 and the U-19 Women’s One Day Trophy starting December 13.
