Meghalaya bordering Guwahati to remain under lockdown

Shillong, June 29: Government has decided that the locations in Meghalaya bordering Guwahati i.e Byrnihat, Jorabat till Khanapara will be under lockdown due to the surge in Covid_19 cases in Assam. Inter-state movement continues to be restricted. DC will issue necessary orders accordingly, this was informed by Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma.

Furthermore,  In a daily briefing informing this Meghalaya Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong  said the lockdown will come into force from 30 June till 15 July 2020.

The areas comes under lockdown starting from Byrnihat till Rani bordering Assam , Tynsong informed.
