Shillong May 23: Chief Minister and National People’s Party (NPP) national president,Conrad K Sangma has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his “splendid performance” in the Lok Sabha elections.
“I would like to congratulate Prime Minister Nardendra Modi for his splendid performance in this election as it has certified the leadership quality that he has and the people of India have once again reposed their faith in his leadership,†Sangma said.
Stating that it is a great moment for the people of the country as a whole, he said, “Under his leadership, the NDA has emerged victorious with more seats than what was expected.â€
The chief minister also added it was also because the people have full faith in all regional parties and other political allies of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
“Therefore, we assure the people that we will continue to work with the same spirit that we did in the past,†Sangma said.
