Shillong, March 27 : Disturbing news indeed for the state, yet another dead body of an unidentified woman was recovered at the bank of the River Nondein near Nongpathar under Nongstoin Police Station.
The body of a woman was found by locals on Sunday evening, who immediately reported the same to the police.
According to West Khasi Hills SP S Nongtnger, the dead body is decomposed, and identity is yet to be ascertained though during inquest, one friendship band was found in her hand written Nisha.BN. The girl must be approximately 18-20 years. “Effort is on to identify her name,” Nongtnger
It may be mentioned that this the third time in a row – in two months – February and March.
