Shillong, Mar 9: Meghalaya Sports Minister, Zenith Sangma today tabled a draft sports policy in the Assembly.
The draft policy was prepared by Rajiv Gandhi IIM-Shillong.
The State government the sports department has sought views and opinions from the public on the draft policy till March 31.
The policy talked about setting up of a state sports academy for priority disciplines and sports schools at the district level as we all as rewarding sport persons who won medals in Olympics and their coaches.
