Shillong, Feb 25, 2020: Judo team from west Jaintia hills district  who participated on the Meghalaya games 2020  organized  by the Meghalaya state Olympic association  held  recently outshines  .

Wankishwa Mawlong who lead the team to the recently concluded Meghalaya Games in which eight players from west Jaintia hills district including five boys and three girls won browns and three  girls got gold and Nangiaid Pyrthuh  belonging in the 66 kg category  Soktina Pohti in the open weight and Iba Marwein in the  35 kg category  two of them  won silver and Cheerful Susngi in the 50 kg and Daia Lyngkhoi  in the 50 kg , Micheal Lyngdoh in the 55kg  and Phrangsngi Paswet in the 60 kg.
