Meghalaya govt extends lockdown to May 31

Shillong May 17: The Meghalaya government has extended the national lockdown to May 31.

As decided by the Centre, Deputy Chief Minister, Prestone Tynsong told reporters that the state government would work out the modalities on relaxing some activities

“We have decided to extend the lockdown upto May 31. We are working out the guidelines on the kinds of activities to be relaxed, but inter-state movement is still restricted,” Tynsong said.

The modalities would be worked out based on the guidelines issued by the MHA.
