SHILLONG, NOV 28: Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Friday announced that the second installment of the post-matric scholarship will be released on November 29, ensuring that students across Meghalaya receive the funds before Christmas.
“I just want to give you the good news that tomorrow, November 29, I will be releasing the second installment of the post-matric scholarship,” Sangma said. “After that, it will take a maximum of two to three working days for it to reflect in the students’ accounts.”
Reaffirming his government’s commitment to student welfare, the Chief Minister added:
“As promised to all of you, this year I will take special care and ensure your scholarship amount is released before Christmas, and hence I am doing that.”
Expressing optimism, Sangma said he believes the scholarship release will greatly assist students across the state.
“I am sure this will help our student community to a large and great extent,” he said, extending his best wishes for their academic journey.
