Shillong, March 21: Pdiangsuklang Syngwan of the Meghalaya Swimming Association delivered an impressive performance by finishing third in the 50m freestyle (Open Category) at the Achieving Sports Milestone by Inspiring Women Through Action (ASMITA) Women Swimming League, Eastern Zone, held in Guwahati on Saturday.

Hailing from Shella, Syngwan’s podium finish highlights the growing presence of Meghalaya athletes in competitive swimming at the regional level.

The achievement was confirmed by Baika R. Lyngdoh, Secretary of the Meghalaya Swimming Association, who lauded the swimmer’s dedication and performance at the prestigious women’s league.
