Shillong, Jan 25: The Nationalist Congress Party has announced six more candidates on Thursday for the upcoming Assembly polls slated for February 27.
The candidates from six constituencies include NCP state president, Saleng A. Sangma (Gambegre), Dorendro M. Sangma (Dalu), Priyam Ch. Sangma (Kharkutta), Nilkamal D. Sangma (Tikrikilla), Dr. Tweel K. Marak (Resubelpara) and former MLA, Desang M. Sangma (Rongjeng).
Saleng and Desang were former MLAs who got elected two times.
Saleng was the MLA of Gambegre and Desang had represented Rongjeng.
The NCP had earlier announced six candidates in the first list.
