Shillong,Aug. 21: North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) today signed the MoU with State Nodal Agency, third party administrator MHIS phase III to roll out health insurance scheme in NEIGRIHMS from today. The MoU was signed by Medical Superintendent in presence of Director Prof (Dr.) D M Thappa and Deputy
Director, NEIGRIHMS.

Documents of agreement were handed over to State Nodal Agency, MHIS phase III . Director on the occasion said that it is the moment of pleasure for the administration of NEIGRIHMS that MHIS has now become a reality for the patients who visit NEIGRIHMS and empanelment of Institute with the phase II of the Scheme has helped a total number of 1129 and it will definitely help many more beneficiaries who come under this scheme to avail the benefits of diagnose and treatment facilities at NEIGRIHMS
