Shillong, Feb 26: The newly elected Members of the District Council of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC), will take oath on Thursday, February 27.

The oath-taking ceremony will be held at 11 am at the district council hall.

Meanwhile, on Friday, February 27, the election of the Chairman of the KHADC will be held at 11 a.m., and on the same day at 2 p.m., the House will convene again for the election of the Chief Executive Member (CEM).

Moreover, the Governor of Meghalaya, Chandrashekhar H. Vijayashankar, has directed the East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner RM Kurbah to administer the oath to the newly elected MDCs and conduct the election for the office of the Chairman of the KHADC.
