Shillong, Nov 20: The state election committee of the National People’s Party (NPP) Meghalaya has released the second list of candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections.
The candidates whose names have been approved by the committee include, former minister, Donkupar Massar from Ranikor constituency, KHADC member Pyniaid Sing Syiem from Mawryngkneng constituency, and Jigur Myrthong from Mawshynrut constituency
NPP Meghalaya president, and chairman of the state election committee, Dr. W.R. Kharlukhi said that the rest of the candidates would be declared shortly.
Earlier, the NPP had released the list of 24 candidates contesting from various constituencies in Khasi-Jaiñtia and Garo Hills.
