Shillong, June 26 :  A person who came to the Ri-Bhoi district of Meghalaya from  neighbouring Assam tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday taking the  total tally as of now up to 47 in the State.

“One more traveller who came from Assam has tested positive for  COVID19 in Ri-Bhoi District and has been kept under quarantine,” Chief  Minister Conrad K Sangma tweeted.

With the latest detection, the number of active COVID-19 cases in  Meghalaya has gone up to four.
