PM Modi interacts with Meghalaya’s IT professionals via video conferencing

Shillong, Oct 24: IT professionals in Meghalaya Wednesday got an opportunity to interact with Prime Minister, Narendra Modi through video conferencing.

The interactive programme was held at the NIC Meghalaya Conference Hall here.

In his address, the Prime Minister said that India’s youngsters are leveraging the power of technology wonderfully. He also said that the youngsters are using technology not only for themselves, but for the welfare of others which is a wonderful sign.

“The success of any Government initiatives lies in public involvement and it is essential for the nation’s growth,” he said.

A statement said that the focus of the interactive event was on volunteering efforts and initiatives taken by IT Corporate and IT professionals in the social sector.

The event was also live streamed to participants from the IT companies across the country through NIC webcast at pmindiawebcast.nic.in.
