Shillong, April 25: Police have warned the public from sharing video clip apparently doctored by anti-social elements with an intention to create communal flare-up for their vested interest.

A statement issued by East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police, Davis N.R. Marak said that it has come to the notice of the Police that some anti-social elements were circulating video clip apparently doctored, with an intention to create communal flare-up for their vested interest.

Requesting all citizens not to pay heed to such video clip and desist from sharing the same with others, the SP also requested the public that whenever they receive such video clip, they should immediately share this information with the nearest Police Station or Beat House/Out Post so that police can book them under the appropriate section of law.
