Shillong, Sept 15: Shillong’s very own Riya Suting has been selected as a National Finalist for Miss P&I India 2025, a prestigious pageant that will be held in Goa from September 17 to 21.

Riya will join 30 contestants from across the country in a unique, reality TV-style competition that goes beyond conventional beauty standards, testing contestants on their strength, intellect, and poise.

Miss P&I India, organised by Pageant and Innovation (P&I), was founded by young entrepreneur Malik Isani with the aim of making the pageant industry more inclusive and impactful. The event carries the tagline “Every Story is a Crown,” highlighting the personal journeys of participants.

Speaking about her selection, Riya expressed gratitude for the support she has received from her home state and said she is determined to make Meghalaya proud on the national platform.

Residents of Meghalaya have been encouraged to follow Riya’s journey on Instagram at @riya_lauren and support her as she prepares for the Grand Finale on September 21.

Entertainment and fashion enthusiasts across the state will be watching closely as Riya represents Meghalaya with pride, bringing visibility to the region’s growing presence in national pageantry.
