Shillong, December 13, 2025: State Government Minister and MLA of the 19th South Shillong Constituency, Bah Sanbor Shullai, on Friday organised an advance Christmas and New Year celebration at the State Convention Centre, Shillong, along with the Monitoring Implementation Committee of the constituency.
The programme was attended by representatives from various church groups under the South Shillong Constituency, Dorbar Shnongs, and members of the public who were invited to take part in the celebration.
On the occasion, Bah Sanbor Shullai distributed financial assistance to several church organisations and Dorbar Shnongs as part of his continued support for religious and community institutions in the constituency.
As a symbolic gesture marking the Christmas celebration, the MLA also cut a cake, while the programme featured carol singing, musical performances, and cultural presentations by local singers and musicians.
The event concluded with a special Christmas fellowship meal, shared among all those present, fostering unity, goodwill, and the spirit of the festive season.
