Shillong, Feb 7: The second phase of Leprosy Case Detection Campaign kickstarted in East Khasi Hills and Ri Bhoi District from Thursday, the 6th February, 2019 till 23rd February, 2019. The campaign was launched by the Director of Health Services (MCH & FW) cum Joint Mission Director, NHM, Meghalaya, Dr. L M Pdah.

The campaign is being organised under the National Leprosy Eradication Programme (NLEP). Dr. Pdah congratulated the staff who participated in the first phase of the campaign held during November 2018 and expected the same kind of dedication and effort during the second phase.

Dr. R R Lanong, NLEP Consultant called upon the Medical Officers and staff of the two Districts to actively participate for the success of this campaign.
