SHILLONG, MAR 25: St Edmund’s College Shillong has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Emporium Training and Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. to create career opportunities for students in the aviation and hospitality sectors.

The agreement, signed on March 25, 2026, by Br. Sunil Britto, Principal I/C of the college, and Anirban Mukherjee, Operations Manager of the consultancy, was formalised in the presence of college management and company representatives.

The three-year collaboration aims to promote skill development, enhance career awareness and facilitate job placements in the aviation and hospitality industries. It seeks to equip students with industry-relevant competencies while offering guidance on diverse career pathways in the expanding aviation sector.

“St Edmund’s College is committed to providing quality education and enhancing employability. This partnership will help bridge the gap between education and employment,” said Britto.

Mukherjee reiterated the organisation’s commitment to supporting students’ career aspirations.

“We are dedicated to creating opportunities for students who aspire to build careers in the aviation industry,” he said.

The partnership is expected to benefit students through structured training, industry exposure and improved access to placement opportunities in the aviation and hospitality sectors.
