Shillong, July 28: The 1st Sub-Junior Badminton Tournament began here on Friday.

Participated by 40 players of the state, the two-day tournament being organized by the Young Talent Badminton Club has been divided into two categories – under-13, and under-15 (boys and girls), both single and doubles.

On the first day, the tournament has proceeded to the quarter finals quarter final.

Matches for the semi finals will be held on Saturday. The final will be held at 2 pm.
