Governor to address on first day of budget session on March 13
Shillong, Feb 24: The budget session of the Meghalaya Assembly will begin on March 13 with the Governor’s Address.
The Business Advisory Committee of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly in its meeting held on Monday, has approved the calendar for the budget session which will have 10 working days.
The session includes seven days government business, and three days private member’s business.
The state budget for 2020-2021 will be presented by Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma on March 18 and the budget will be passed on March 26.
