Shillong, Nov 17: Senior advocate, Hamarsan Sing Thangkhiew has been appointed as Judge of the Meghalaya High Court.

A notification said, “In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (I) of Article 217 of the Constitution or India, the President is pleased to appoint Thangkhiew as a Judge of the Meghalaya High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.”
