​Shillong Feb 03: The State Election Committee ​of the United Democratic Party (UDP) has finalized its candidates from 35 out of 60 seats.
The UDP will contest from 22 seats out of 36 seats in Khasi and Jaiñtia Hills and 13 seats out of 24 seats in Garo Hills.
​This was announced by UDP vice president, Allantry Frankl​i​n Dkhar​, who is in-charge ​of ​elections.
​The UDP has forged a pre-poll alliance with the Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP) in ​ Khasi and Jaiñtia Hills, and with the Garo National Council in Garo Hills.
