Shillong Feb 4: The state election committee (SEC) of the United Democratic Party (UDP) has approved Herald Son Dkhar as it’s candidate from Shiliang Myntang constituency and Winning Garland Sungoh from Mookaiaw constituency.

This was informed by UDP general secretary Jemino Mawthoh said on Monday.

Both the candidates are contesting the elections to the Jaiñtia Hills Autonomous District Council slated for February 27.

The UDP has so far announced 48 candidates for the elections to the two autonomous district councils – KHADC and JHADC.
