Shillong, Mar 30: As per guidelines of the Election Commission of India, the District Election Officer of West Jaintia Hills has advised the voters of the District to carry their Election Photo Identity Card (EPIC) on the polling day on April 11.

For those who do not have EPIC, can carry anyone of the valid identity cards such as passport, driving license, Service Identity card with photograph issued to employees by Central, State Government, Public Sector Undertaking, Public Limited Companies, Passbook with photograph issued by Banks or post office, PAN card, MNREGA job card. Smart card issued by RGI under NPR, Health insurance Smart card issued under the Scheme of Ministry of Labour, official identity cards issued by MPs, MLAs or MDC and ADHAAR card
